TOMORROW - THE HOUSE OF FAIRY TALES

Don't miss The House of Fairy Tales - opening tomorrow and partying all weekend!

Once upon a time...

in an Arts Centre not so far away a Visual Arts Programmer discovered a Travelling Art Troupe
who were just too exciting for words!  She invited them to the Arts Centre and there they began
a thrilling  residency featuring murals and clay story making in which everybody could  get involved.
And so the people came and admired magnificent art, created  magical characters and had a play
with clay. At the end of the day they left enthused and inspired and lived...
happily ever after.

Friday 6 August from 6pm - 8pm The House of Fairy Tales  Exhibition Opening Party

As well as offering you the usual glass of wine (or juice)  we will be giving you the chance to make
your mark on the Clay Story Mountain  and the giant blank canvas that will become the
Metamorphoses Mural!  Unleash your creativity and add your own special touch to a central part
of this exhibition, which will feature work by national and  Wiltshire-based artists.

Don't  think you're artistic enough? It doesn't matter; everyone's welcome to  come and get involved.

Can't make  it to the Opening Party? Do not fear - we're so excited about the  exhibition
that we'll be celebrating all weekend!

Join  us in the Arts Centre grounds on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August from 12 - 5pm.

Artist  Gavin Turk and writer Deborah Curtis have enlisted the help of visual  artists who have frequently
worked with Salisbury Arts Centre in the  region, as well as artists, performers, musicians and inventors
from The  House of Fairy Tales... don't miss the results! The exhibition will run until Saturday 18 September.
